Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Answerley (the “Service”), an AI phone-answering service that answers your business calls, takes messages, and books appointments on your behalf. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Answerley provides an automated voice assistant that answers inbound calls forwarded to a phone number we provide, converses with callers using information you supply, and sends you the results by email and in your dashboard. The Service is provided on a subscription basis and depends on third-party providers (see Section 8).

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the business you represent.

3. Free trial and billing

  • Your trial runs for 14 days or 25 answered calls, whichever comes first. We email you before any billing begins.
  • After the trial, your selected plan renews automatically each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Fees are billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
  • We may change plan pricing with advance notice; changes apply to the next billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • Place or facilitate unsolicited, deceptive, or automated outbound calls or messages;
  • Handle calls for activities you are not legally permitted to operate;
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

5. Call handling and consent

You are responsible for how the Service is used on your line, for the accuracy of the business information and greetings you configure, and for obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction before calls are recorded, transcribed, or processed. Laws on call recording and notice vary by state and country; you agree to comply with those that apply to you and your callers.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the business information, greetings, and other content you provide. You grant us a limited license to use it to operate the Service for you (for example, to answer calls and generate summaries). You are responsible for having the rights to the content you submit.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Call handling depends on telephone carriers and third-party AI and infrastructure providers that are outside our control. The Service is not a substitute for emergency services; never rely on it to reach 911 or other emergency lines.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers including telephony (Twilio), speech and language AI (Google), hosting and database (Supabase and our infrastructure providers), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery (Resend). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms where applicable.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for missed, mishandled, or incorrectly summarized calls, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, our providers, or others.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
